Dad was an avid camper most of his life. He enjoyed travel.
Between 1950 and 1954, in the Korea War period, he served in the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Wheelus Field, Tripoli, Libya, and Tempelhof Airfield in Berlin, Germany. During his time off, he used his space-A privileges, and competition on his unit's sports teams, to travel to other destinations, visiting Greece, England, the Middle East, and a host of other destinations.
After service he returned state's side to begin life as a draftsman and work on engineering teams with such companies as Raytheon in Rhode Island, and Xerox Corp in Rochester, NY.
Dad was a dedicated and generous father who took good care of his family.
He will be missed.
