Obituary of Rene Wilfred Julien

Rene W. Julien of East Rochester passed away peacefully on January 12,, 2022 at age 90. Rene is survived by his wife of almost 68 years, Verna (Hettel); his children, Larry (Joan), Ron (Laura), Jeanne (Patrick) Farchione, and David (Cindy); three grandchildren, Angela (Justin) DaCosta, Patrick and David Farchione; one soon-to-be great-granddaughter DaCosta; brother, Charles; sisters, Lorraine and Jane Nolan; several nieces and nephews. No prior calling. Please join the family on Saturday, January 22nd at 9:30AM at St. Jerome's Church, East Rochester, for the celebration of his Funeral Mass. For those unable to attend in person, the Mass will be live-streamed at https://stjeromerochester.org. Interment White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford. The family would like to thank The Northfield in Fairport and The Brookdale in Pittsford for their support to Rene over the last two years. A special thank you to the staff at Highland Hospital for the excellent care provided to Rene during his final days.
