Always direct and compassionate, conversational and welcoming, making all time spent with her worthwhile, Elzbieta I have always found to be original and unforgettable. She still is. There were holidays when I was stuck working through them, and away from my family----and she was generous to help put together the most wonderful dinners, with several courses for me, signed cards for me, she and her family. She always made me feel very welcome---the past few years with the pandemic have been difficult for people, I was one of those, living by myself and sometimes cut off from my own family by reason of the pandemic. But she always welcomed me into her home when so many other people would've closed the door---kindness tempered with courage, always putting compassion first. I was blessed to know her in the short time that I was able. I'm grateful, thank you Elzieta. With love, and thankfulness, Thomas

We loved Ella she always welcomed us into her home. When we lived on East Ave we talked often, just like the old days when she and family came here. Learning new customers, new language, etc. Ella you will be greatly missed
