Fairport-After an extensive and valiant fight with cancer, Elzbieta Kaszuba, wife, mother and grandmother has passed on Friday, June 17, 2022 at hospice. She is predeceased by her parents, Jadwiga Cegielska and Franciszek Cegielski, and 6 beloved brothers and sisters.

Elzbieta is survived by her loving husband, Edmund; daughter, Milena; son, Pawel (Charley Plummer, son-in-law); and granddaughter, Karina.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington Street, East Rochester from 4-6:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 23 at 10:00 a.m St. Jerome's Church 207 Garfield Street, East Rochester. Internment will be at White Haven Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Elzbieta's honor to St. Jude's Children Hospital which helps children with cancer.

Elzbieta was a wonderful woman who adored her family, cherished her friends and loved people. She enjoyed gardening, thrift store shopping, cooking, baking and making sure her family was always happy. She would often give advice and was strong minded when it came to many issues, but she never wavered and made sure by the end there were no hard feelings. She adored Karina, her granddaughter who called her "Babi", making sure she, like the rest of the family felt they had a part of her heart. She loved it when Karina called her loving grandfather, "GrandPi". Karina was the petal of her flower.
