Dear Pam and Family. We have thought about Andy ever since you called with the news. We are sad that we will no longer see his beautiful smile or hear his encouraging words. We have so many memories together but the best is the day we encouraged you to marry and it was not just one meeting but multiple times of encouraging you both that God was bringing you together. Andy was strong in his faith as you were and together the heavens opened in praise and worship. What a team for Christ!! We loved praying together and there have been many answers to prayer over the years.
We love you Pam. Call if you need us. We only wish we could have been with you during this time. May God give you peace and rest. Michele and Jack Harshbarger

Tribute to Andy Baker – loving husband, loving father, mighty warrior…. 1.12.2023
Before the children and grandchildren came, my husband, Steve, and I became friends 43 years ago.
A funny memory of our 1st Christmas together - After all the homemade Christmas ornaments were made and pretty much dried, the tree was up and decorated, the four of us sat on the couch admiring our first tree together. In a few short minutes, we watched as the tree slowly fell to the floor in front of us. It was horrifying at the time…but to this day…we laugh about it!
In Andy’s love for the Word and intercession and mentoring, came my calling as an intercessor. Thru these 43 years, one thing we’ve all learned is that even thru trials, battles and – even – our wanderings – if we keep God’s commandments and do things His way (which Andy exhibited thru the acts of repentance and forgiveness, loving people, sharing his life and resources, and so much more) - we are kept in God’s loving arms as God is absolutely good. Chris, Andy’s son, masterfully shared on FB that his father wasn’t perfect but available. And that’s a man after God’s heart for sure.
Andy exhibited this throughout his life as he continually entered into the Courts of Heaven and into His Heavenly Father’s presence.
Thru this walk, birthed the War Room prayer group on Messenger many years ago. It was during these past 2 years – though - that there was a rekindling in the War Room as literally all hell broke out against the Church.
As we all started rekindling our passion in God’s spiritual giftings, Andy once again reached out encouraging me to start a War Room in the Midwest. I didn’t feel worthy of this calling but, in prayer, felt God’s gentle nudging, so it started.
A uniting across America and the World advanced with our Warrior General, Andy Baker, leading the charge which continues to this day.
So, today, we are here to say what I know Andy’s Heavenly Father is saying to Andy as he entered the Courts of Heaven, “Well done Thy Good and Faithful Servant for all the lives you touched on earth.” – his wife, Pam, his children, his grandchildren, his friends, his patrons, his church friends & family, and the list goes on and on….
But this doesn’t end here today. Andy is now part of "the spirits of just men made perfect" in Heb. 12:23 and with this we (the Ekklessia/the Church) are to continue in this work that God began through Andy bringing heaven to earth. So as we leave here today, (as I preach to the choir) let us lay aside the weights that so easily beset us the scriptures say (whatever they may be – the woes of this world, disappointments, the list can be endless) - Let us run the race that God has set before us to continue this work that Andy has begun on earth as it is in heaven.
We can do this --!!
- Knowing that we have a Heavenly Father that has promised to never leave us or forsake us and the truth that God is absolutely good.
- Knowing that Jesus paid our redemption in full taking the keys out from hell and handing them to His Ekklesia (us) on earth to usher in His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven - giving us legal authority to have access in the Court of Heaven.
- Knowing that we have the Holy Ghost that helps us at all times if we ask.
And, finally, knowing that our dear Warrior friend, loving father and husband, Andy Baker, is cheering us onward now in these callings and giftings - that God placed in us at conception - wanting the best for each one (as we all have experienced Andy’s loving, inspiring nature).
I will miss you, Andy, on this side but looking forward to our time together in eternity!
Your friend forever, Cathy

I have fond memories of Andy as a child. Andy always had a smile on his face and you knew he was in the building because you could hear him laughing. I remember he gave the biggest hugs. I am so very sorry for y’alls loss. I was saddened when mom told me the news. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers ~ Jon, Mary, Victoria, and Alivia Alo

The last two times I saw Andy were within a fairly short span, both at Penfield Aldi, and probably a couple of years ago now, when everyone was wearing masks due to the covid pandemic. It had been a number of years since I'd seen him before that. I'd always loved his sweet smile. His mouth was covered now, but his eyes were still smiling. At his grandkids. :) I called his name and told him who I was in case he didn't recognize me with the mask and my now grown-in white hair. He was as jovial as ever. We shared a few words and went our separate ways down different aisles, but I'd catch glimpses of him and three or four of the kids as we shopped. They were all so cute, joking around together, laughing, Andy letting them pick out snacks they wanted, etc. It's funny how all this affected me. I loved seeing the connections between them, the joy they shared, the affection and attention Andy showed them. It made my heart happy, yet at the same time I grieved for a fatherless generation and for all the people who've never had someone like him in their lives. I thought about all the people in the world who were struggling with loneliness and isolation, longing for connections like these. And how much brighter the world would be with more Andys in it as sons, husbands, fathers, brothers, grandfathers, uncles. More Andys to shine the light of Christ through smiling eyes, to help us find joy amidst all the sorrows around us. It's a no-brainer that this dear man will be sorely missed, and I pray God's special comfort for all who were closest to him in this life. I pray that all whose lives he touched would know Jesus as he did and see those smiling eyes again in heaven one glorious day. Sending love to all of his precious family, Heidi Mason
