Tammy and Brett my heart breaks for you both. Losing a parent or grand parent is one of the toughest losses you will face. Please know that your friends are here for you. I love you both very much and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
I will always remember the fun I had working the drive-in zoos with your mom, how she loved those animals! Except for the chickens, she hated them!
I would run into her at the public market while she was doing her Saturday morning shopping. She certainly did enjoy that.
I will hear her gravely voice and see her big big smile in my dreams. I'm forever thankful that I got to say good bye and see her one last time before she passed.
I hope it gives you some peace knowing that in heaven her health is restored and she is back with your dad, Nina and Michael, wrapped in the arms of the Lord.
She will continue to live on in our hearts and by sharing our memories and stories with each other.
