East Rochester - On August 16, 2024. Predeceased by husband of 66 years, Giuseppe; Survived by children, Salvatore Contestato (fiancée Debby Sanchez), Matilda (Don) Martinez; grandchildren, Joey Contestato, Jessica (Mike) Snacki, Vanessa Martinez; great-grandchildren, Eliana and Santino Snacki; brother-in-law, Alfonso (Noreen) Contestato; nephews, David (Mike) Contestato, Derek Contestato; and other family members in Italy.   No prior calling. Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass for Stella on Wednesday, August 21 at 10:00AM at St. Jerome's Church, 207 Garfield St., E. Rochester. Interment will be private. Those wishing may contribute to St. Jerome's Church or the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
