A remarkable lady, she was an integral part of my ER upbringing. Great friends with my parents, she and Rene were both truly wonderful folks whose presence in our lives made a real impact. I hope that the sense of loss felt by her family is tempered by the knowledge that Verna was loved and respected by so many, and that all the good things she did are continually reflected in the lives of others! Peace to Larry, Ron, Jeanne and David and their families and friends.
