I met Mr. DeVoria as my bus driver in junior high school (1973). Mr DeVoria offered me a job at his ice cream stand (my first job!). Eventually my brother Ken and I both worked there. I learned so much from him. Most importantly customer service. The customer was always right. A skill that has largely been lost recently. He was frugal. Reusing paper towel (yes I now reuse it also) but demonstrated great common sense. What a hard working man. As a young person he gave me a great start, My condolences to the family. I have lived in the Penfield/Webster area since 1991. I wish I knew he was this close. Ray Bassett
