Obituary of Daniel R Marra

Daniel R. Marra of East Rochester died March 17 2017. Dan was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Rosalie Marra. He is survived by his sisters, Marijane (Michael) Bowen, Betsy Marra and Patsy (Bob) Wilcox; nephews, Matthew (Lauren) Bowen and Nicholas Wilcox; great-nephew James Bowen. Dan is also survived by many longtime friends, including the many coaches of East Rochester, Rush Henrietta and Gananda. Dan's family wishes to express sincere thanks to the staff of The Sussman Palliative Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital for the loving care they gave to Dan. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday, March 24th from 1:00-4:00 pm and from 6:00-8:00pm. Dan's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 25th, 10:00am at St. Jerome's Church, 207 Garfield St., East Rochester. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Rush. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to the Sussman Palliative Care Unit at Strong in Dan's memory.
