Obituary of Sam Urzetta

Urzetta, Sam East Rochester: April 8, 2011 at the age of 85. He died as he lived, with grace and dignity, surrounded by the family that he cherished. Sam was predeceased by his parents, Carmen and Palma Urzetta; sisters, Mary Catizone, Lucy Fornieri & Rose Urzetta and brothers, Nick, Joe & Frank (Babe). Sam is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary Ellen; children, Helen Mary (Sam) Tortorici, Joseph (Vicki) Urzetta, Peter (Margaret) Urzetta & Michael (Terri) Urzetta and grandchildren, Jason (Jessica) Tortorici, Jessica (Sean Perry) Tortorici, Kyle, Ryan, Landon, Cole, Riley & Augustine Urzetta. He is also survived by his sister, Theresa Ferrari; brother, Fred (Marilyn) Urzetta; several nieces & nephews and many wonderful friends. Sam will always be remembered for his humble manner, his sense of humor, and the care and respect he showed to all he met. Sam's family would like to thank the many wonderful people who showed such overwhelming support and love over the last several months. Friends may call MONDAY & TUESDAY 3-8pm at the HARLOFF Funeral Home 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester. Sam's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30am on WEDNESDAY at St. Jerome's Church. Interment in White Haven Memorial Park.
